Privacy Policy

Social Classroom is a product of PrepPanel LLC. This policy explains how the app handles data when teachers and students use it.
Social Classroom does not collect, store, or sell any personal data.
What the app does
Social Classroom is a role-play simulation tool for classrooms. A teacher creates a live session, and students join using a room code. Students select characters and post messages on a simulated social media feed. All session data exists only in the teacher's browser and is never saved to any server.
What data is transmitted
During a live session, the following is transmitted between the teacher's browser and students' browsers through our server:
- A user-entered display name (so the teacher can identify group members)
- Character selections
- Posts and messages written during the session
This data passes through a Cloudflare Worker that acts as a real-time relay. The server routes messages between participants but does not log, save to disk, or retain any session content. Messages pass through server memory only for the instant it takes to deliver them — no student names, posts, or session data are accumulated or stored on the server. All connections are encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS).
What we do NOT collect
- No accounts or sign-ups — for teachers or students
- No email addresses, passwords, or personal information
- No student cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind
- No student data is stored on any server, ever
Data retention
The server retains nothing — it never stores session content in the first place. Session data is saved only on the teacher's local device (using browser localStorage) and can be deleted by the teacher at any time. Once the teacher and all students disconnect, the relay for that session is removed from server memory with no data left behind.
Third parties
Social Classroom uses Cloudflare to host and serve the application. No data is shared with any other third party. We do not use advertising or tracking services. We use Cloudflare Analytics Engine to collect aggregate, non-personal usage statistics (for example, how many sessions are started). No personal data is included in these events.
Children's privacy
Social Classroom is designed for use in teacher-supervised classroom settings. The app does not collect any personal information from any user, including children. Students participate using a room code provided by their teacher and are not required to create an account or provide any identifying information.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update this page with the new date. Since we don't collect email addresses, this page is the only place to check for updates.
